Stick the Heart on Barney

Everyone knows Barney has a big heart, and your Barney fans will love helping Barney put it back where it belongs.

Purchase purple poster board and cut out a Barney shape, or draw Barney on butcher paper. Indicate with an outline where the perfect spot for his heart is. Use red or pink construction paper to cut out a heart for each child. Cut a few extra in case of mishaps at the party. Put each child’s name on their heart, and put a piece of double stick tape on the back before the child’s turn.

Blindfold, spin gently and direct each player towards the Barney you have taped on the wall. The heart that ends up closest to the outlined heart wins. Children this age all need to feel like winners, so prepare Barney sayings on cards for everyone. You can have fun awarding them for things like closest to belly button, closest to an eye, etc.
