Can the Cat in the Hat Catch His Tail?

In a large room, organize the children so they’re standing in a single-file line. If you have a large number of party guests, divide the kids into two lines. To play, each child holds onto the waist of the person in front of him or her. The person at the front of each line should wear a hat to show that they are the head of the Cat in the Hat. The person at the end is the tail.

The object of the game is to see if the head can catch the tail. If the head succeeds, he or she becomes the tail and the chase continues with the second person in line as the new “head.”
